This essay investigates how different forms of intimacy may exist and function as resistance to ‘the new fascism,’ both in relation to making art, to writing, and within private life. It further examines how certain focalities, understandings and self-relations of the subject(s) affect relationships to the new fascism and various intimacies, through concepts such as readymadification, whateverification, ready-made discourses and stuckness.
