How does language intertwine our bodies and societies, and what does linguistic violence do? Although there is an awareness that language is changing perpetually and is stimulated by diversity, there are calls for uniformity from nationalist policies. For instance, through cutbacks in teaching first languages, and demands that proficiency in Swedish should be a condition for citizenship. The exhibition contained two installations based on sculptural works and was divided in two chapters and expanded by a program and publication.
