(Some) Legendary Lesbians: Sappho Magazine
Royal Institute of Art.
2016 (Swedish)Book (Other (popular science, discussion, etc.)) [Artistic work]
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

(Some) Legendary Lesbians is artistic research as performance and performative text. It is a pub quiz, a library and maybe a declaration of love that explores the life and work of Jackie Forster and her struggle to keep Great Britain's Lesbian Archive alive. I have been cruising the archive at Glasgow Women's Library since the fall of 2013. From postcards, photographs, press clippings and a rejected autobiography, a partly concealed story about Jackie Forster, Jacqueline Mackenzie, Straight Thespian and Roaring Lesbian, takes shape.
